About Skillet Greens
Skilletgreens is a food blog focused on simple, tested recipes for everyday cooking.

Meet the author
Elena Marquez
Elena came back to the desert after her mother's stroke and stayed for the garden that was dying without her. Bringing the greens back to life brought her mother back a little too. She cooks them in cast iron by the window, fierce about every leaf, because she knows what it cost to grow them.
What you will find here
Skillet Greens is about vegetables cooked so people ask for seconds: roasted, charred, sauteed, and dressed, as sides and as the whole meal.
How recipes get made here
Every recipe is cooked at least three times with supermarket produce and photographed on the day. Seasonal swaps are listed where a vegetable is only good part of the year.
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the site may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what gets recommended.

Vegetables are the main event here. Every dish is cooked in a skillet or sheet pan and tested for real browning.
